Trails End Cabins are located in the Ouachita National Forest just a few minutes from Mena, Arkansas and sit directly on the edge of US forest boundary located in between the North and East trail heads of Wolf Pen Gap.  Step out of your cabin and take your ATV directly onto the Wolf Pen Gap trail system.  We are the closest cabins to the cave at the shale mine.

Just minutes away you will find convenience stores, antiques shopping and dining in Mena, AR. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit, play in the creek nearby, watch the wildlife, or just simply sit on your private porch and enjoy some peace and quiet. There are an abundance of deer wandering the property, as well as the occasional black bear.

Our Couples Cabin is clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need to enjoy your vacation.  Perfect for a romantic and peaceful getaway!

Dawsyn Creek Lodge sleeps 6, and is located on a dead end lane right on the trails system! It has a small creek with wooden walking bridges. It is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and offers multi-level porches across the back make it easy to sit and watch the abundant wildlife.

Our BRAND NEW Bear Paw Lodge is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with queen beds in each bedroom.  The back porch has a beautiful forest view, and the property offers a fire ring and charcoal grill. Secluded but close enough to the other cabins to bring your whole group!

The Bear Facts

Black bears should always be considered unpredictable and potentially dangerous.  A black bear usually will detect your presence and flee the area before you notice, unless the bear has been conditioned to people and their food.

  • Avoid Confrontation
  • Do not feed the bear – a fed bear is a dead bear.
  • Do not leave food out when not in use, store it in a hard shelled vehicle
    or car trunk.
  • Keep pets on a leash.
  • Keep a flashlight and bear pepper spray readily available.
